Smart Class

Smart class systems are installed in all the classrooms, where the teacher explains the concepts using computer systems. The entire classrooms starting from LKG to std. XII is fully converted into Smart Classes. The education contents have been developed as movies and the animated movie contents have been mapped with the syllabus of the students so that students are able to understand the syllabus better than teaching by using chalk and the board alone.

Library

The Central Library has good collection of Textbooks and References books by well-known Authors and Publishers. The Library Committee, Faculty and Students recommend procuring the titles.

Laboratory

The best of laboratory facilities required for each of the programme with the latest and modern equipment are available in all the departments. Microbiology, biochemistry, physics and biotechnology laboratories have sophisticated equipment for the advanced learning.

NCC, NSS, NGC and CTC

In order to mould our students as active servants and soldiers of our society even at the school level, we have two units of the National Cadet Corps (Army & Air wing), national Service Scheme (N.S.S), National Green Corps (N.G.C.) and children Traffic Corps (C.T.C.) which bags many awards every year.

Yoga

Yoga acts as a catalyst and unravels the many wonderful qualities that children possess. Apart from the apparent physical benefits, it helps the child become aware and focused. Even special children with learning disorders benefit immensely with yoga.

Specialized coaching is offered in various sports, games and martial arts such as Volley ball, Basketball, Kho-Kho, Shuttle Badminton, Table Tennis, Carom, Chess, Yoga etc.,

Arts & Culture

We would like our students to shine not only in the academic/sports but outshine everyone in the field of performing arts as well, and for this purpose we have opened a Music Club and installed all types of musical instruments. Training is imparted in Guitar, Veena, Violin, Flutes, Keyboards, tabelas, drums and miruthangams.  In addition, students are trained in Bharatha natiyam, Folk Dance and in yoga.

Talent Search Competitions

To bring out the hidden talents in the students the school conducts competitions every year in various fields like dancing, drawing, elocution (Tamil and English), Essay writing , singing, mono acting, instrumental music and Fancy dress.

Dining on best environment campus, for students of Immaculate Heart of Mary, is available both for day scholars and hostellers. Immaculate Heart of Mary canteen has well equipped modern cooking facilities. The food is prepared hygienically. The students enjoy tasty variety of menu combining both South Indian and North Indian food.
